Cookie Policy

Redline uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — nothing else sets cookies here. It only runs if you say yes on the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time with the button below.

If you accept, Redline loads Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions:

• _ga — identifies your browser as a unique visitor. Expires after roughly 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — tracks session state for this specific site. Expires after roughly 2 years.

These cookies collect pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (GA4 automatically truncates your IP address before storing anything — there's no separate opt-in needed for that part), device and browser type, and how long you stay. That data is aggregated by Google and used only to help us understand traffic and improve the site. Redline does not use Google Analytics for advertising, and does not enable ad personalization signals.

Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode. The analytics script itself loads on every visit so it can carry that signal — that's a small, cookieless request to Google's servers either way — but until you accept, it tells Google not to set a cookie or store anything against your visit. Declining, or never answering the banner, means no Google Analytics cookie is ever written to your browser and no visit data is stored against you.

The API Tester and Webhook Debugger use your browser's localStorage — not cookies — to remember two things locally on your device:

• Your last 15 API Tester requests, so you can revisit them.
• A list of webhook inboxes you've created or visited, so you can find your way back to them without an account.

This data is stored only in your browser, is never transmitted to Redline automatically, and is cleared whenever you clear your browser's site data. Your cookie consent choice itself is also stored in localStorage, not a cookie.

If Redline adds sign-in or a second analytics tool in the future, either could introduce new cookies. If that happens, this policy — and, where required, the consent banner — will be updated before it ships.
